HOW BEST WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
I like to think of myself as a available light photographer - I prefer using natural light to capture special moments, but at times i have to use my flash to assist me. I love the raw emotion in photos and our South African sunsets and sunrises spoil us with romantic lighting too. I put a lot of effort into choosing the perfect location when shooting. I am also inspired from visiting various places and I try and implement them in my photos. I also prefer natural photos that are more relaxed.
SO YOU HAVE BOOKED A SHOOT? WHAT NOW?
I love to get to know my clients over a cuppa! Exchanging ideas and having a natter about your love shoot, family get together or sharing in the joy and excitement of a newborn shoot or wedding, gives me a better understanding, before the day of the shoot, of what your vision and style is, so I may caapture the perfect photos on the day.
WHAT DO I WEAR? SHOULD I HAVE MY MAKEUP AND HAIR DONE PROFESSIONALLY?
There is no set style or colours that you have to use when deciding on what to wear. I can assist with putting together a good colour scheme to work with, that will work best for you, the season, and type of shoot that you want to do. I work with a very talented hair and makeup team "Kiss the Bride" who can do your makeup and hair for the shoot.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO GET MY PHOTOS?
I shoot in digital, which requires a fair amount of post-shooting work. I do minor enhancing, light changes/fixes, skin corrcetion etc which is all apart of the photography process. When booking a shoot, please check with me regarding the waiting period for your package selection.

Hi there, my name is Megan and welcome to my website, I'm so glad you stopped by. I'm a
mommy, wife, DIY wannabe, graphic designer & photographer. I'm a dreamer who is inspired
by all the beautiful moments that life has in store for us.
I grew up in the Midlands and spent most of my time outdoors. This is where i really developed
my love for nature. I married the man of my dreams, Neil, and we settled on a small farm in Paddock. I adore my beautiful little girls, Emma and Hailey as well as my dogs, Willow & Pepper!
A qualified wedding co-ordinator, I have always had a love for everything "weddingy". It wasn't long after planning my own wedding, that I realised that I so wanted to get into photography. I trained under a husband and wife team of professional photographers, who not only blessed me with their amazing knowledge, but I have developed such a special bond with them and we still work closely together.
I have photographed throughout our beautiful country and been blessed to photograph some
extraordinary people, in some of the most beautiful venues. Whether you're a young family just
starting out, a glowing expectant mommy or a lovey dovey couple getting ready to say "I do", It's
always such a joy for me to share and capture these moments in your life.
